What Do We Gain from Attaining Connection With the Creator?

By attaining connection with the Creator, we gain the ability to see the world and influence people as the Creator does, through the Creator’s quality of absolute love and bestowal.

When we enter into contact with the Creator, we gain fuel for our next stage of development, which is called “love your neighbor as yourself.” We then receive such an ability and can love others unconditionally.

Here, we should differentiate between the state of “love your neighbor as yourself” that emerges as a result of attaining contact with the Creator, and the way in which such a principle is generally respected in our world. The latter is not based on universal laws. Rather, society, as a result of its development, reached a conclusion that altruistic relations are better, more convenient and safer. Therefore, society generally agrees that it is a good condition. However, the quality of unconditional love is in fact opposite to our egoistic nature, which constantly prioritizes self-benefit over benefiting others.

If we truly wish to attain the absolute unity described by the phrase “love your neighbor as yourself,” we need to change our nature. It is insufficient for us to say that the law of the Creator is an altruistic attitude toward each other. Instead, we should be internally convinced that our current egoistic nature is absolutely evil and that attaining resemblance to the Creator is absolutely good.
