What Is the Most Important Thing in This Rapidly Changing World?
Today, we have entered a new era of very intensive human development. Contrary to what we might think, it is not defined by technological or social development, but rather spiritual.
We are on the brink of needing to understand that the nature in which we exist is a kind of bubble, and we will need to know what it demands of us, and how it changes, influences and pushes us in various directions. Likewise, we will need to discover what we need to do with our nature in order to protect ourselves from harm and secure a path to a harmonious and peaceful world.
There are major, meaningful and global questions here, which did not awaken in the past, and which our past knowledge and developments cannot answer. We will thus need to examine what we can do in order to tackle what we will increasingly face as we head into the future.
Evolution is marked by constant change. Nature is in a state of constant change and as a result, we also change, but our changes herein will be much sharper, more sudden and frequent. They will all be aimed specifically at us humans, and they will guide us to make a significant inner transformation.
We are heading to a life where we will feel ourselves as a single globally-integrated system, which is described in the Torah as living “as one man with one heart.” We will need to come together, learn how to live with much closer ties to each other, without conflicts, and to achieve a state of mutual love and connection in accordance with the systematic demands that the single, integral and global system of nature will increasingly unravel upon us.
