Why Are So Many People Unashamed to Flaunt Their Wealth When There Is So Much Poverty?

There have always been people who wish to flaunt their wealth, while others wish to hide the fact that they are wealthy.

The reason those who flaunt their wealth are unashamed is mainly due to the kind of upbringing they received. However, there are also many very wealthy people who do not flaunt their wealth and what matters to them is their inner wealth.

We would be wise to first learn in our lives that we should be content with our destiny, whatever it might be. Secondly, we should not place ourselves above others in wealth, knowledge or anything else. We would do much better if we invested into learning and applying spiritual wisdom into our lives, i.e., the wisdom of how to come closer to each other in order to reach balance with nature’s integral laws.

If we have such learning in our lives, then we will see an end to people flaunting their cars, houses and wealth in general. On one hand, such displays show that we have earned something, but in principle, an upbringing based on spiritual wisdom would shift our values and we would then no longer feel any value in flaunting wealth. We would then value our advancement to the ultimate meaning and purpose of life more than anything else.

We would thus be wise not to focus on comparing our material status with others, but on delving deeper into exploring ourselves and attaining connection with the force of nature operating on us. Doing so would lead us to a much greater sense of wealth, a spiritual wealth that leads to the sensation of eternity and perfection, an abundance that is far beyond material wealth.

What Is the Importance of the Hour of Death?

The hour of death is a new birth. In other words, when we die, a new cycle begins.

“The hour of death” means the moment when we part with our life, what we have made of life and how we lived it, and move on to the next cycle. It does not mean that in that same moment, a newborn baby is screaming somewhere as a result of one’s death. A new birth rather relates to the beginning of the person’s attainment of the spiritual world. Therefore, the hour of death does not relate to our physical death, but that everything old — that which we have lived through and considered important — passes away.

Then, in the next stage, naturally something new can be born that we previously considered unimportant, which mostly relates to positive human connection, love and the connection with the source of our lives, the Creator. The new love that arises when we enter the next stage of life is more natural and closer, which can be explained simply as an opening of our hearts.
