Why Can’t the People of Israel Unite?

After the 7th of October, there is a clear understanding among vast sectors of the Israeli public that unity is critical. A lot of people in Israel make great efforts in order to unite the nation, but we see that despite the efforts, conflicts between right and left, and religious and secular, once again arise.

Indeed, why do the people of Israel find it so difficult to unite?

It is due to our evil inclination, i.e., our egos that bustle and burn from within. That is the reason for our inability to come closer to each other, all the more to unite, embrace and love one another.

The evil inclination — the ego — makes each one of us feel ourselves as better than others. It renders us incapable of connecting with our fellow man, and also of feeling others, even those who are supposed to be like our very own brothers.

Since October 7, there is a clear understanding that unless we unite, our lives are in danger, but despite this life-threatening situation that depends on our unity, we still cannot unite.

There is no other nation on this planet as egoistic as the people of Israel. On the other hand, however, we also see that in times of trouble, there are manifestations of devotedness among the people of Israel like in no other place in the world, with several incredible stories of heroism. However, we still cannot unite.

Where are we supposed to head from here? We are supposed to develop our understanding of this situation, the world we live in and learn how the upper force of love and bestowal obligates us to connect with each other and come together.

The upper force that guides our reality has such a will toward us, that we rise above our corporeal nature and character, and connect with each other so that the upper force will be able to reveal its quality of absolute love and bestowal in our connection.
