Will Israel Still be Able to Celebrate its Independence Day in the Future?

As we can see, Israel is surrounded by several groups that dream of the day that it will no longer exist, and there are constant efforts to delegitimize the existence of this country around the world, so the question about whether it will continue to exist in the future is indeed a pertinent one.

I think that in the future, we will celebrate Israel’s Independence Day such that it will be a holiday not just for Israel, but for the whole world.

We will achieve the state where the idea of “Love your neighbor as yourself,” which is outlined in the Torah, will become the fundamental principle of humanity’s existence. If the people of Israel will live according to this idea, then we will certainly continue to celebrate these holidays.

Before we reach such a state, however, could we be expelled from this land by force? I do not think so, nor do I think that difficult times lie ahead. We now need to think not only about ourselves, but also about the world — what we say to the world, what we need to show it, and where we need to guide it. This is how we will defend our independence.

Of course, in the face of the factions rising up against us, we need to continue defending this country militarily, and while doing so, understand that achieving a state of peace is a means to spread the idea of “Love your neighbor as yourself” to humanity. We must always remember this and continually behave in accordance with this principle.
